This months speaker is Georgie Timmins from the British Red Cross Everyone knows that the British Red Cross support emergencies overseas and do first aid at events in the UK, but how much do you know about the numerous other services we offer within the UK? From telephone support for someone experiencing loneliness, to providing rest centre support following large-scale incidents, such as the Manchester attack, the British Red Cross do so much for people at home. It is important that people know what sort of help is offered should they ever require it and how they can get involved in fundraising or volunteering. We expect this to be a popular event, so please remember to book early.
We are always on the look out for interesting guest and keynote speakers who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise with us on a topical or business related subject. A typical slot is 20-30 mins, please get in touch if this is of interest.
It is our policy to provide our speaker with the name and company details of those attending. If you if you do not wish to be included, please let us know.
